Who we are
Skye Private Aviation arranges private jet charter on behalf of clients. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Anything you would like to ask, raise or request can go to hello@withskye.com or +44 (0) 7505 484 274.
02
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send a charter request we collect your name, email address and telephone number, along with the journey details you choose to share — departure and arrival locations, dates, number of passengers, and any preferences or requirements you mention.
Correspondence. Emails you send us, replies we exchange, and notes of the calls we have with you.
Basic technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard log data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, so the site can run and stay secure.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
03
How we use it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and give you options and a price
- arrange and manage your flight, including ground transfers and anything you would like on board
- contact you about a journey — by phone, email, or by replying to your message
- keep a record of our conversations so we can pick up where we left off
- meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We only use what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
04
Who we share it with
Putting a flight together involves other people. Aircraft operators, ground transport providers and, where relevant, catering or handling suppliers each receive only the details they need for your journey.
We also use service providers who host our website and database and deliver our email on our behalf. Every party we work with is expected to use your information only for the work we have asked them to do.
05
Information sent abroad
Charter is a global business. Where your flight involves an operator, handler or transfer provider outside the UK, your details may be shared there so your journey can be arranged. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled with care wherever it goes.
06
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry and journey details for as long as we need to arrange your flight and support you afterwards, and we review and delete what is no longer needed. Where we are required to keep certain records for legal or accounting reasons, we keep only those, for as long as the law requires.
07
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored in a secured database, with access limited to the people who need it to help you, and transmitted over encrypted connections.
08
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information where we have no reason to keep it
- stop contacting you, or limit how we use your information
Write to hello@withskye.com and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
09
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, other than as a passenger listed by an adult making the booking.
